Busan Cinema Center to Commemorate Leslie Cheung




BUSAN, South Korea — The Busan Cinema Center will hold a special exhibition to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the death of the late Leslie Cheung, the famous actor of Hong Kong. 


Staff of Busan Cinema Center said it will show 10 major movies of the late Cheung, including ‘A Better Tomorrow’, ‘A Chinese Ghost Story’ and ‘Days of Being Wild’ from the twenty-first of next month for ten days. 


With these, paintings, sculptures and video art related to Cheung which are donated by fourteen artists from four countries including Korea, Hong Kong, Japan and UK will be exhibited together. 


Cheung died after leaping from the 24th floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel, located in the Central district of Hong Kong Island  in 2003. He was 46-years-old.
