<br>Do you have a problem with slugs? Slugs are one of the most destructive insects in the garden. You rarely see them during the day unless it is cool and moist. They live in the soil under your plants during the day then come out to feed during the night. There are several ways to take care of slugs without using harmful and expensive pesticides. One effective method is to bury a pie tin in the ground near the plants that have damage. Then pour beer in the pie tin. It will resemble a small, beer filled swimming pool for slugs. For some reason, the slugs are attracted to the beer and they get close, fall in and basically drown in the beer. It really works!
